Back Shop Attendant Full Time

(Seasonal): Monday – Friday Day Time Shifts

Shifts and Hours May Vary Based on Club and Seasonal Needs


Position Summary:

This position is the first line of contact between the Pro Shop Attendants and reports directly to the management team. Shifts will primarily occur during the day, Monday-Friday. Primary responsibilities fall on cart cleanliness, maintenance, staging/storing, and janitorial services throughout the Clubhouse and Back Shop all season long. Excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service to all other staff, members and guests of the club are a must for this position. Must be flexible to meet the needs of the club and may be required to work weekends or other shifts depending on golf tournaments, functions, or other seasonal needs.


The position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and maintain an extremely high level of organization and care. They must interact with members and other employees with professionalism and personalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited to These Duties):

1. 1st line of contact for all duties with regards to Pro Shop and Back Shop cleaning and maintenance.

2. Responsible for housekeeping and cleaning duties; keeping the Back Shop organized and clean, Pro Shop cleaning duties.

3. Ability to handle a physical workload, bathroom inspections, garbage disposal, recycling, vacuuming, mopping/sweeping (interior and exterior), kitchen cleaning and maintenance, etc. (A more comprehensive list of all cleaning duties can be provided)

4. Reporting to managers to help with seasonal requirements and needs (spring course opening procedures and fall end of season closing procedures).

5. Responsible for cleaning and staging carts.

6. Light mechanical repairs and cart maintenance with attention to detail while monitoring all carts. (flat tires, re fueling, batteries, damage reporting etc.)

7. Ensuring that an appropriate number of carts are always available and to assist the Pro Shop attendant or other staff when needed to move, clean or park carts at their discretion.
